At Mevoli and Hancock Dentistry, we have been dedicated to serving patients in the St. Petersburg area for 40+ years. We offer nitrous oxide gas for anxiety, advanced dental procedures done in-house in order to keep you from having to run to multiple providers, preventative and restorative dental services, dental emergencies treatment, cosmetic dental procedures, multiple payment options including Care Credit, and personalized gentle care.

Meet The Team

Paul Mevoli, DMD

Dr. Paul Mevoli has called Florida his home since young adulthood. He is a graduate of St. Petersburg Catholic High School, St. Petersburg College and the University of Florida. He received his dental degree from the University of Florida's College of Dentistry. He has served as a volunteer Associate Professor at the dental school . Dr. Mevoli is a member of the American Dental Association, West Coast Dental Society and Pinellas County Dental Society. He has volunteered with Mission work in Haiti. He has maintained a thriving practice in St. Petersburg for 30+ years, and can boast thousands of avidly loyal patients. Most say that they would never consider going anywhere else for their dental treatment, because at this practice, they know they are considered family. In addition to his compassionate care, Doctor Mevoli is best known for his resourcefulness, ingenuity, technical expertise, and his willingness to offer treatment options. When not in the office caring for patients, he is often out on our Florida waterways enjoying skiing and fishing. He is also an avid racing fan. He is married to Terri and they have two children, David and Ashley.

Wade Hancock, DMD

Dr. Hancock was born and raised in Evanston, Wyoming. After high school, he served a mission for two years in the Dominican Republic, where he became fluent in Spanish. He attended Utah State University. While attending college, he founded and managed several businesses. He then attended the University of Florida's College of Dentistry. Throughout his career, he has been an active member of various community service, church, and dental mission trip organizations, as well as professional dental organizations. Dr. Hancock is known for his gentle patient touch, ability to provide patients with multiple treatment options and thinking outside of the box when it comes to treatment plans. He is also trained in clear aligners and facial aesthetics. He has 4 children and a loving partner. He speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese. When not treating patients, he enjoys travel, outdoor activities, music, and time with his family.

Alyse | CRDH
Office Manager

Alyse was born and raised in St. Pete and has been in the dental field for 15+years. She provides quality care to her patients not only as the office manager but clinically as well. She attended The University of South Florida for her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, and St. Petersburg College for her degree in dental hygiene. Alyse is organized, and coordinates office administration and procedures, in order to ensure effectiveness, efficiency, and safety. In her free time she enjoys boating, fishing, and disc golfing. She has a wonderful partner of 19 years and three dogs she enjoys spending her time with.
